QUEEN ELIZABETH UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

The brand new, purpose-built Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is now open and accepting patients. Patients who would previously been admitted to Gartnavel General Hospital under the care of the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit will now instead be admitted to the new hospital, to one of the Respiratory wards (7A, 7B, 7C or 7D). This takes effect from the 8th June 2015. SPVU Outpatient Clinics are unaffected and will continue to be at the Golden Jubilee. New patients undergoing initial diagnostic tests will also continue to be admitted to the Golden Jubilee, as before. Further information for patients and visitors about the new South Glasgow University Hospital can be obtained via this link:-
